Laura Neville Healthcare Scholarship

Selection criteria: Superior scholastic performance, high character, leadership ability, and financial need.

This award will provide a two-year scholarship for a graduating School District #22 student who is registering to attend a post-secondary program in the healthcare professions.
The second year of the scholarship shall be dependent on successfully completing the first year of such a program.

The funding for this annual 2-year scholarship provided through the Community
Foundation North Okanagan
The donor, Craig Neville, has set up an endowment fund that earns annual income to
support this award

   This is a TWO year award with payment toward the second year of study contingent on
   the student successfully completing their first year of study. Total value of the award
   over TWO years $3000.
   Please note:
   • Year one will be paid to a registered post-secondary institution by School District
   #22
   • Year two will be paid to the student’s registered post-secondary institution by the
   Community Foundation North Okanagan upon receipt of confirmation of
   enrollment letter for second year, issued by the school and submitted by the
   student. The student is encouraged to call CFNO with any questions or concerns
   well in advance of tuition being due for second year.
   The paperwork-certificate presented at graduation must clearly explain to the student that
   they are receiving TWO years of support – and that it is their responsibility to reach out to
   us at the Community Foundation North Okanagan well in advance of their second year of
   study.
   The student is responsible for staying in touch with the Community Foundation North
   Okanagan and ensuring we have both their current contact information as well as that of
   their parent(s)/guardian(s) as appropriate.
