Village of Lumby
The Village of Lumby is the local municipal government office. As a local government we are responsible for the financial management of the community including the collection of utilities and property taxes. We are responsible for public services including the collection of garbage, the providing of clean potable water, collection and treatment of wastewater, and the maintenance of roads and sidewalks. The Village also provides recreational activities including the Monashee family park and the salmon trail. The Municipal office provides ICBC and Motor Vehicle services
Impact
The goal is to support students who choose a career in business and public administration, finance and accounting, as well as trades including mechanics, plumbing & heating, electrical, and carpentry.
