Martin Estate and Injury Law
Our law firm is one of the largest in the Okanagan with offices in Vernon, Lake Country and Kelowna. We provide legal services in Family Law, Wills & Estates, Business Law and Serious Personal Injury. This bursary of $3,500 is presented for five years in commemoration of founding lawyer Melody Martin’s 25th anniversary of being a lawyer.
Impact
Truth and Reconciliation is important to Martin Estate and we want to support Indigenous young people in achieving their dreams. We offer this award to support a high school graduate interested in justice to further their education in any post-secondary program, whether trades or college or university. The winner is chosen by the school district from any school. The first recipient (2023) was Samantha Lovely of VSS who will be attending Okanagan College for the Legal Assistant program.
