Friends of Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park

The Friends of Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park is a society dedicated to preserving and protecting the environmental integrity of the park for the benefit of the general public and future generations. We do this by working to protect the grasslands and ecosystems within the park by controlling the spread of invasive weeds and other plants, as well as conduct and promote fire safe practices. We were given a grant by the North Okanagan Conservation Fund to study the efficacy of various control methods within the park. We also provide educational seminars on the flora and fauna within the park and environmental stewardship.
